The Conference on “MOOCs, language learning and mobility” is approaching and the agenda is online!

The University of Naples L’Orientale together with Federazione Nazionale Insegnanti Centro di iniziativa per l’Europa (FENICE), as one of the partners of the project “MOOCs for university students on the Move in Europe” (MOVE-ME) funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, organize the Second International Conference on “MOOCs, Language Learning and Mobility”.

The conference is our way to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Erasmus Programme in 2017 – a milestone for Europe! – It will take place during the two Erasmus days on 13 – 14 October 2017 in Naples in a central zone, near the Castel dell’Ovo and the sea.

The international conference will bring together secondary and university education professionals, linguists and language technologists from 20 countries (including China and Russia) to debate issues relating to three topical areas of research, such as MOOCs, language teaching/learning and student mobility, by providing a forum for exchange of ideas, research outcomes and technical achievements.

The Scientific Committee of the Conference, composed of professors from four European universities, selected for an oral presentation 41 of the 80 abstracts received from all over the world. Fifty-four speakers will carry the presentations out altogether in parallel sessions. In addition, other projects/researches will be shown in a poster session.

The conference is also an excellent opportunity for international networking and for sharing results achieved in innovative projects and initiatives. More than a hundred people enrolled on the conference.
